Valentine Mk X

The Valentine X tank was armed with a 6lb anti tank gun . It served in the North African campaign until the end of the desert battles by which time it was being replaced by more improved tanks. Many Canadian built versions were exported to Russia where their reliability was respected by Soviet troops. Some models were also issued as artillery spotter tanks and used up until the end of the war in North West Europe.
