The 1 ton Sdkfz 10 halftrack was used as a towing tractor for several small guns including the Pak 36, Pak 38, Sig17, Sig 33 and the 120mm mortar trailer.

The 1 ton half track mounting the 20mm flak 38 anti aircraft gun was used by flak companies of Panzer units throughout the war and was frequently employed in a ground support role.

Hetzer Panzerjager 38t mounted a 75mm Pak39 and was produced in great numbers from mid 1944 until  the end of the war . Initially issued to  Panzerjager detachments of infantry divisions. 2584 made.

This  version of the Hotchkiss fielded by Beckers Sturmgeschütz  Abteilung 200 was the 105mm howitzer SP . This was a yet another  example of the Germans successful adaptation of an obsolete captured  chassis.

Krupp Protze truck Kfz 70 was produced from 1933 to 1942 and was used to carry troops or tow 20mm light anti aircraft cannons . A versatile vehicle it was used on all fronts during the first half of the war.

The Kubelwagen type 82 based on the air cooled VW beetle chassis was widely used by the German army on all fronts from 1941 until the end of the war by which time over 50000 vehicles had been made.

Marder III Pak 40 Auf M was a modified Panzer 38t produced in large numbers , 975 were produced from mid 1943 onwards . It served on all fronts and equipped both armoured and infantry divisions in the panzerjager role until the end of the war.

The Medium PKW Kfz.15 built from 1937 until 1943 was used on all fronts throughout the war and was the most important medium car in the  Wehrmacht.

Some 16000 examples of the 3 ton Mercedes Benz type L3000 S trucks were built between 1938 and 1944.The model comes in three versions, the open truck body version with troop load , the closed tilt version and a radio / office body version.

There were 184 of  these  radio equipped command tanks produced from 1935  to 1937 . Some of these vehicles remained in service until 1942.

This was an early attempt to provide armoured support artillery by mounting a 150mm Sig 33 gun complete with wheels and gun carriage on a Panzer 1 chassis . 38 of these vehicles were made and served in France and the early stages of the Russian campaign.

Panzer  38t  20 mm Flak issued to armoured flak compaies from late 1943 onwards notably used by the 12th  SS Hitlerjugend  division in Normandy 1944.

The Czech built 38t was integrated into the German Army after the fall of Czechoslovakia in 1939. This tank served in German armoured units in Poland, France and the early campaigns in Russia.

Panzer III Ausf G was armed with a short 50mm gun and had improved armour. They were issued to medium tank companies between April 1940 and February 1941 . The model is recognisable by its lateral air intake covers on the engine deck.

Panzer III Ausf M was armed with a long 50mm gun and they were issued to medium tank companies between October 1942 and February 1943.the model is recognisable by its spaced front hull armour and a larger external exhaust system.

The Panzer IV Ausf D was armed with a short 75mm gun for close support and is recognisable from the Ausf F1 by its stepped front glacis plate.

The Panzer IV Ausf F2 was armed with a long 75mm gun superior to allied guns on all fronts in 1942. To the British in the Western desert it was known as the Panzer IV “special” and was a feared adversary. Fortunately they were never enough to go round.

The Panzer IV Ausf G was armed had a long 75mm and several other modifications over the previous models most notably turret skirt armour.Produced in large numbers between May 1942 and June 1943.

Sdkfz 250/11  platoon leaders version was armed with a squeeze bore Panzerbusche 41 anti tank gun which could be used demounted on a lightweight  carriage carried on the rear of the vehicle.
