Early war 15cwt platoon truck

The early war British 15cwt truck was an open cab design with an aero windscreen. It was produced in large numbers by Morris, Bedford and Fordson and used from 1940 up to around 1942 on all fronts.  Huge numbers of these vehicles were left abandoned on the beaches of Dunkirk and salvaged by the Germans. In the British army the vehicle was used as a platoon truck or as transport for a support weapons platoon.
